TeleCinco is a free-to-air channel owned and operated by Mediaset. It was founded on March 10, 1989 by Gestevisión Telecinco, and it would be officially launched on March 3, 1990. This channel has frequently been regarded as one of the most watched in Spain, which prompted Mediaset to purchase the channel and include some of its shows on TeleCinco.

TeleCinco can be considered as a general entertainment channel, with its programming being aimed at most Spanish citizens. The channel’s grid has included sci-fi shows, movies, current affairs’ programs, reality shows, and news .
